Hopped and Bothered; Port Brewing Santa's Little Helper

Port Brewing -- Santa's Little Helper 2012
Alcohol content 10%. This is a local brewery, located in San Clemente. The pour is dark with a tint of red around the rims of the glass. The scent is roasty and burnt. The taste is hoppy and strongly bitter, with a burnt cleansing feel across the palate. Creamy mouth feel. Very strong alcohol burn at the back of the throat that ends on a dry bitter cocoa note.

Buy if: you want a decent winter stout.

Overall: decent and would taste incredible on tap. As of now, decent but having come off the Abyss, it pales in comparison.

3.5 out of 5.
