Hopped and Bothered; Stone Oaked Arrogant Basterd

Stone -- Oaked Arrogant Basterd.

Alcohol content 7.2%. The aroma is oak and hops. I can smell the bitterness. A hint of vanilla. Pours a thick bone-white head. Leaves a nice rim. Ruby red in color. Very clear. The taste is instantly bitter, as Stone is known for, but there is a sweetness hidden in there. Drink at room temp. Nice mouth feeling, a little dry. Malt sugary tang. A twist of citrus  in the bite. A strong bitter finish that lingers. Pleasant tartness.

Buy if: You like Stone, and want an extra kick to your usual Arrogant Bastard. I'm not a big Stone fan, but I enjoyed this. Drink at room temp.

Overall: 3.25 out of 5.
