Hopped and Bothered; Lienenkugel Sunset Wheat
Lienenkugel -- Sunset Wheat
Alcohol content 4.9%. Pours in a thin head. Very little lacing. Very cloudy appearance. Aroma of aged (very aged) orange peels. A hint of blueberry. Very clear Fruity Pebble influence, though this is strained in the taste. Flavor is ripe (too ripe) with fruits and pebbles, almost bitter. The flavor is indeed crisp and refreshing. The metallic aftertaste gives way to another bite of Fruity Pebbles. Wheaty sweetness.
Buy if: You want a light beer that tastes like a breakfast cereal.
Overall: I got the Fruity Pebbles aspect, but once I got past that, there wasn't much to it.
