Hopped and Bothered: Boulevard Double-Wide IPA
Boulevard Brewing -- Double-Wide IPA
Alcohol content 8.5%. The pour is deep copper, filled with bits of hops and sediment. Looks like the Grand Canyon at night. The hops are complex and not as intense as I expected. It is far more interested in mingling malt and citrus. Apricot, blood tangerine, homemade baked bread, coriander. Very slight and sweet and lush. The finish is dry and crisp, with a tart kiss at the end. Very interesting and not what I expected.
Buy if: you are down with unique IPAs.
Overall: vibrant, tangy and complex, this is not one to miss.
