Hopped and Bothered: Boulevard Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale
Boulevard Brewing -- Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale
Alcohol content 8.5%. The scent is rich and practically explosive. Grapefruit and harsh fruit aromas sing. Upon further inspection, I caught hints of Belgium spice, cardamon, coriander and lemon. The first sip is far different than the smell: absurdly hoppy but with a hint of pepper. The alcohol content leaves the finish dry, but the taste lingers. Crisp. Surprisingly light in texture and tone. The flavor continues to linger, in a good way.
Buy if: you want a different camp of IPA infused Ale.
Overall: personally too thin for me, but the bold flavors and crisp finish make this one memorable.
